This Hudson Yard loft plays with the openness of the space while taking into consideration the need for privacy. The space already had a loft conversion, however it was tailored for a single owner with no kids. We proposed an intervention that created two new spaces that serve as bedroom and home office which can be fully opened to the living room if desired. Walnut barn doors were chosen not only for functionality but also to generate contrast with the walls and carry on with the characteristic industrial look of NYC lofts.
