DRAMATIC OPENING

In Long Island City we took the opportunity to open up a wall between the kitchen and living spaces to dramatically add light to the center of the apartment. We re-used and re-purposed as many of the kitchen cabinets as possible by creating a new buffet of the dining area to make as little waste as possible. We optimized the island by making it one consistent height and added cabinets on both sides to maximize storage.
